Does RootWise Balance work with Australian natives?
Yes, but native plants are a broad group and they don’t all interact with soil fungi in the same way. RootWise Balance contains more than mycorrhizal fungi, including beneficial bacteria, humic acid, fulvic acid and seaweed extract, so the product can still support the root-zone environment around native plants. If you’re dealing with a struggling native garden, it’s also worth considering soil chemistry, drainage and compaction rather than assuming biology is the only issue.

How quickly will I see results?
It varies with the plant, season and condition of the soil. Some gardeners notice changes within a few weeks, while others take longer. I’d give it several weeks before judging the result, and start with one of your poorer-performing plants or beds so you have something obvious to compare.

How do I use it?
Mix one teaspoon into 10L of water and apply to the soil around your plants every 1 - 2 weeks. It can also be used as a foliar spray. RootWise Balance can be used alongside compost, worm castings and organic fertilisers.

Can I use it in pots and raised beds?
Yes. Pots and raised beds can be especially useful places to use RootWise Balance because the soil environment is relatively contained and can change significantly over time through watering, feeding and repeated planting. RootWise Balance is designed to support beneficial biology around the root zone in these systems.

Is it safe around children, pets and edible plants?
RootWise Balance is made from naturally derived soil and plant-support ingredients and is intended for use around edible gardens. Use it as directed and store the product out of reach of children and pets.
