How long before I notice a difference in my plants? Every garden is different. Some gardeners notice improvements within a few weeks, while others take longer. That's because some of the early changes may be happening below ground, where you can't see them. Plants may be developing their root systems before you notice much difference in the leaves or growth above ground. With weekly applications, we'd generally expect you to notice a difference within 60 days, although results depend on your soil, plants and growing conditions.
Can I use RootWise Balance in pots, raised beds and existing gardens? Yes. RootWise Balance can be applied to the soil in pots, raised garden beds and established garden areas. You don't need to dig it in or disturb your plants. Simply add it to your watering can and apply it around the root zone.
Can I use RootWise Balance with compost and fertiliser? Yes. RootWise Balance is designed to complement good gardening practices, not replace them. Compost contributes organic matter, fertilisers supply nutrients, and RootWise Balance supports the biological processes that help make nutrients available to plants.
How much garden will one 300g container cover? A 300g container provides approximately 60 applications at the recommended rate of 5g per 10L of water. Each 10L watering can covers approximately 20–25m². For larger areas, you can also apply RootWise Balance using a suitable garden sprayer, which can provide more even coverage. Just remember to water the area afterwards with a hose to wash the product off the foliage and into the soil, where it's needed.
